How to Automatically Refresh SSRS 2008 R2 Reports

A small tit bit to the people who works on SSRS. If you wish to refresh the page automatically at regular interval then continue reading the post. Generally very very rare cases clients asks for such kind of functionality but better to have an idea about this property. To demonstrate the same I created a report and PFB the preview of the same.

To make the report refresh automatically then follow the steps given below.

  • Go to Report Design.
  • Select the Report area and select F4 for properties.
  • Set Auto Refresh Property value to the value of your wish and in this example I am setting it to 10 as shown below.

  • Now preview the report which refreshes automatically for every 10 secs.

That is it yaar .. As simple as this .. Enjoy ..
